Cot / First Bed
Saraghi Cots have the AFRDI Blue Tick Accreditation and comply with the mandatory requirements as set out in Consumer Protection Notice No.6 of 2005
The cots are built from sturdy heavy section timbers. This has been facilitated by a unique 'patent pending' auto rise drop side which negates the weight of the heavy timber and eliminates the need for lifting. This is particularly useful after caesarian delivery when the stomach muscles which are used in lifting should be rested.
As a result of the unique mechanism's long travel Saraghi cots have the deepest cot sides making a very safe and secure environment for the growing infant.
Unlike all other cots, Saraghi cots have no unsightly exposed bolt heads to detract from the appearance of the fine timber joinery.
The cots easily convert to a sturdy 'first bed' and add many years of useful product life.
Baby Change Chests
Saraghi Baby Change Chests are designed to fit a generous 500 x 750 mm change mat. The mat is located by a shallow rebate in the top surface. When the nappy change function is no longer required the chest remains an attractive and highly functional chest of drawers that will give many years of practical service.
The drawers are cavernous in depth and length providing storage for mountains of clothing. The drawers glide smoothly on steel runners.
Book Shelves
Saraghi Book Shelves have an extremely wide foot print which makes them very safe and stable, a huge improvement over the usual tall but shallow proportions of normal shelving.
They carry a huge amount of books and playthings and have fully adjustable middle shelves to accommodate books and objects of odd sizes. The middle shelves are designed to discourage a child form climbing atop the bookshelf.
We also provide a chain and hook to give you the added security of attaching the unit to a wall.
